Friday 19 August 2022 Year 6 Open Day - Parents and Students
We will hold two sessions during the day for our 2022 prospective students and parents/caregivers. The times are: 9.00am-10.30am and 1.30pm-3.00pm. Please meet in the hall at the beginning of your chosen session. There will be an address by our Senior Leadership Team and tours of our school will be available. These sessions are held throughout a normal school day so usual class time can be observed.
2022 Year 6 Orientation Days – Students only
This is an opportunity for Year 6’s to come and spend a morning orienting themselves at CMS. They will get to experience some time with one of our teachers and will participate in a snippet of life at CMS.
- Tuesday 13 September 2022, 9.30am-11.00am: Schools attending: Leamington, Roto-o-Rangi and Cambridge Primary.
- Wednesday 14 September 2022, 9.30am-11.00am: Schools attending: Cambridge East, Goodwood and Karapiro.
Thursday 24 November, 7.00pm Meet the Teacher – Parents and Students
Class lists will be available at your child's contributing school before this evening takes place. Upon arrival, both students and parents will be asked to join their 2023 class teacher. Following this we will have an address by the Senior Leadership Team about life at Cambridge Middle School.
The evening will have snippets of entertainment depicting aspects of schooling that may interest your child over the coming years.
At these sessions, you will be given a brief synopsis of life and expectations within your child's room. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have about Middle Schooling.
For those classes where teachers aren't available as they are new appointments, our Deputy Principals will be in attendance.
It is our intention to make your child's transition to Cambridge Middle School as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

CAMBRIDGE MIDDLE SCHOOL ZONING
Our school enrolment zone came into effect effective from 01 January 2021. Below is the confirmed zoning area for Cambridge Middle School (EZ = Enrolment Zone, TEZ = Transport Entitlement Zone). The confirmed boundary now brings the zone down to the Pukemoremore Road/Victoria Road intersection, travels east along Pukemoremore Road (includes Lang Road) to the intersection with Scotsman Valley Road, turns right into Scotsman Valley Road - the zone ends at number 491 Scotsman Valley Road (includes Scotsvale Drive).
Our Prospectus and link for online enrolments for 2022 will been sent out to contributing schools in Week 1 of Term 3 2021. If families appear to be out of zone, they are welcome to call us; we do advise those families to submit an online enrolment form (or send a completed hard copy form to us) by the due date of 25 August 2021.
