Our students have the opportunity to enter a number of fun 'one off' events during the year. Information and links to register for these events will be in our Week Ahead and loaded here on this page.
2023 EVENTS:
Primary & Intermediate Schools Golf Competition - Ngahinepouri Golf Club, Friday 17 November 2023
As per previous years Waikato Golf will be running 3 separate Divisions, this will give the players options about what might be the best event for them.
Division 1: 9-Hole Championship Division
This Division is designed for players with official golf handicaps OR for players who are competent in playing 9 holes of golf (on a regular length course).
Division 2: 9 Hole Purple Tee Division (Shortened Course)
Designed for players who have played &/ or currently play golf and are confident in playing 9-Holes of golf on a shortened course. It is recommended that players are accompanied by an adult.
Division 3: Teams Ambrose Division (Shortened Course)
This Division is designed for players who are new to golf and will feel comfortable playing 4-6 shortened holes as a team. (Best ball Ambrose format). Teams shall consist of 3 players and must be accompanied by an adult.
COST: The cost for the event will be $10 per player (Includes BBQ), this can either be paid via cash on the day, or by depositing the money into Waikato Golfs bank account SBS Bank 03-1355-0688873-00, please use player last name as reference.
