Netball at Cambridge Middle School
INFORMATION for the 2023 Winter season:
Registrations are handled directly through local clubs - further information re the 2023 competition & local clubs is available below.
** Please note that in 2023 Cambridge High School Netball Club will NOT be offering netball for Years 7 & 8.
WHEN: Terms 2 & 3
COST: To be set by clubs and payable directly to your chosen club
CLUBS: In 2023 netball for Year 7 & 8 players will only be offered by Hautapu Sports Club and Leamington Rugby Sports Club
COACHES, MANAGERS & UMPIRES: Each team is required to supply a coach, manager and an umpire. If you are interested in helping out with any of these positions, please let your chosen club know.
UMPIRING 2023: Cambridge Netball Centre (CNC) are very keen to have a new group of umpires, any gender and any age to ensure a healthy balance of mature adults across the courts. You can choose to umpire 6v6 or 7v7. You will attend a free introduction to umpiring (ITU) course which consists of 2-3 theory evenings (7v7 = 2 evenings, 6v6 have an extra extension class) and all umpires take part in a practical session.
